HOW TO PARTICIPATE
StraGardaLake is an international running race taking place on Sunday, January 10, 2027, in Desenzano del Garda, featuring two distances. The competitive 21KM and 10KM routes are FIDAL certified.
Registrations will close once the limit of 3.000 participants is reached. The start/finish area is located on Lungolago Cesare Battisti in Desenzano del Garda. The maximum time allowed for the 21 km course is 3 hours and 30 minutes. Participants who do not finish within this time or within the established maximum times for other distances will be considered out of the race.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
21KM ROUTE:
The Stragardalake 21k COMPETITIVE course is FIDAL-certified, and participation is open to all athletes who are at least 18 years old, including Italian athletes who are duly registered (FIDAL or Runcard) and hold a competitive sports medical clearance for athletics, as well as foreign nationals residing in Italy and Italians residing abroad who are registered with FIDAL or Runcard, or who are members of foreign federations affiliated with World Athletics.
Foreign athletes residing abroad who hold a Runcard must present the appropriate medical certificate form provided by the Organization and downloadable HERE, having it signed by their doctor.
Foreign athletes residing abroad who are not members of foreign federations affiliated with World Athletics or who do not hold a Runcard may participate in the “non-competitive tourist-sports” event by completing the “LIABILITY WAIVER FORM” or by filling out the appropriate disclaimer on the Endu website.
Restrictions for the “non-competitive tourist-sports” registration:
– Your position will not be listed in the rankings (but you will still see your time)
– You are not eligible for prizes, bonuses, expense reimbursements, etc.All race services—such as the timing chip on your bib, aid stations, participation gifts, medals, etc.—are included with this type of registration.
10KM ROUTE:
The Stragardalake 10k COMPETITIVE course is FIDAL-certified, and participation is open to all athletes aged 16 and older, including Italian athletes who are duly registered (FIDAL or Runcard) and hold a competitive sports medical clearance for athletics, as well as foreign nationals residing in Italy and Italians residing abroad who are registered with FIDAL or Runcard, or who are members of foreign federations affiliated with World Athletics.
Foreign athletes residing abroad who hold a Runcard must present the appropriate medical certificate form provided by the Organization and downloadable HERE, having it signed by their doctor.
Foreign athletes residing abroad who are not members of foreign federations affiliated with World Athletics or who do not hold a Runcard may participate in the “non-competitive tourist-sports” event by completing the “LIABILITY WAIVER FORM” or by filling out the appropriate disclaimer on the Endu website.

Registrations must be completed online and include all required information. Incomplete registrations or those without payment of the fee will not be accepted.

Online registrations close upon reaching 3000 participants
SERVICES INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION FEE:

In the event of inability to participate, the Organizing Committee offers the following options:
- Cancel participation in the event by sending the refund or freezing form to info@pmsport.it by November 10, 2026, where it will be possible to select a refund of the registration fee (from which €10 will be deducted for administrative costs), or to freeze the registration for the 2028 edition (in this case, a voucher will be issued for the value of the registration fee minus €5 for administrative costs). The voucher can only be used for the 2028 edition of the event.
- Transfer your registration to another athlete by sending the replacement with another participant form to info@pmsport.it by November 10, 2026.
It is also possible to request a change of distance by December 1, 2026, by sending an email to info@pmsport.it.
Changing the distance incurs an administrative fee of €10.00, in addition to any difference in price relating to the new fee.
The exchange of bib numbers is not permitted and will result in disqualification.
ASSIGNMENT OF BIB NUMBERS AND STARTING GRIDS
Race numbers are assigned based on the race times declared at the time of registration and verified for registrations made by December 1, 2026. After that date, race numbers will be assigned based on the date of registration.

21 km route:
LIGHT BLUE GRID > assigned based on the best time indicated for the half marathon within 1:45
YELLOW GRID > assigned based on the best time indicated for the half marathon over 1:45:01 or not indicated
WHITE GRID > non-competitive half marathon
10 km route:
RED GRID > assigned based on the best time indicated for the 10 km within 0.50
GREEN GRID > assigned based on the best time indicated for the 10 km over 0.50 or not indicated
BLUE GRID > non-competitive 10 km
RACE NUMBER AND RACE PACK DISTRIBUTION
Race bibs and race packs will be distributed at the Liceo Bagatta Gym (Piazza Bagatta), at the following times:
– Saturday, January 9: 3.00 PM – 7.00 PM
– Sunday, January 10: 7.30 AM – 8.15 AMAt bib pickup, the following will be required:
– ID card or sports membership card / medical certificate (the latter must have been previously uploaded to your personal ENDU page).Third parties may collect items by presenting an individual delegation or team delegation form, together with the identity document and sports card/medical certificate of the person collecting the item.
GRID ACCESS
Participants must access their starting grid based on the color of their bib. In the event of starting in a group ahead of them, competitors will be disqualified or a time penalty will be applied at the discretion of the Organizing Committee.

RACE TIMES
Timing is provided by EvoData. A SINGLE-USE chip is attached to the race bib to record the start and finish times. The race bib must be attached securely to the chest, taking particular care not to damage the chip.
Final rankings for men and women will be drawn up by category and overall based on the “starting shot.”

The eligible men’s and women’s categories are:
- Youth 16–17 years old (only 10km route)
- Junior 18–19 years old
- Promise 20–22 years old
- Senior 23 years old and older
- SM/SF35 – 35–39 years old
- SM/SF40 – 40–44 years old
- SM/SF45 – 45–49 years old
- SM/SF50 – 50–54 years old

These prizes may be collected after the official announcement of the rankings and must be collected by the entitled persons, who must present their Fidal card.
Cash prizes will be paid exclusively by bank transfer or other traceable means; no cash payments will be made.
Prizes not collected during the award ceremony will not be sent at a later date. RUNCARD holders will be included in the race rankings as normal, but will not be eligible for refunds, bonuses, or access to the prize money.
INDIVIDUAL: the top 3 finishers in each category
10 KM – Sunday, January 10, 11:00 a.m. (in front of Piazza Cappelletti):
INDIVIDUAL: prizes in kind for the top 3 men overall, top 3 women overall, and top 3 finishers in each category
*Prizes awarded to overall winners cannot be combined with category prizes.
TEAM: the top 3 teams composed of men and women, registered with the same team, with the highest number of participants (minimum 10) in the 3 routes.
TEAM BUSINESS: Challenge for companies – the top 3 teams with the highest number of participants. Participants may have different membership cards, simply indicate “TEAM BUSINESS” when registering and enter the name of your company.
TEAM FUN: the first 3 teams or groups composed of men and women with a minimum of 10 participants, not necessarily registered with the same team, who will arrive together at the finish line with the best staging to promote the concept of environmental sustainability and enhancement of the Italian territory.

BAG STORAGE
The bag storage area will be set up in the gym of Liceo Bagatta, located in Piazza Bagatta, with the following hours:
– Sunday, January 10 – 7.30 AM – 8.15 AM
You can leave your backpacks/bags/totes at the bag storage area.
Inside the technical envelope, you will find an adhesive bracelet to attach to your backpack/bag/tote.
The bag deposited can ONLY be collected by presenting yourself at the storage area with your race number.
Do not leave any valuables in your bag. The Organizing Committee is not responsible for theft or damage.

REFRESHMENT POINTS
FOOD & MUSIC AREAS along the route

• 10K COMPETITIVE AND NON-COMPETITIVE: at km 4 water refreshment)• FINAL REFRESHMENT POINT for all participants, in Piazza Cappelletti, in front of the awards stage.
To protect the environment, it is forbidden to throw waste along the roads. Waste must be disposed of in the appropriate containers located near the refreshment points and/or at the finish line. Anyone caught by the organization staff and/or race officials not complying with this rule will be disqualified or penalized at the discretion of the jury.
EVENT PHOTOS
SUPPORT
Assistance other than that provided by the Organizing Committee staff is prohibited, under penalty of immediate disqualification of the athlete receiving assistance. The use of poles and spiked shoes is not permitted (see Art. 144.3.d of the RTI 2016).
COMPLAINTS
Any complaints must be submitted to the jury within half an hour of the official announcement of the results, accompanied by a fee of €100.00, which will be refunded if the complaint is accepted.
REQUIREMENTS
Each participant acknowledges that STRAGARDALAKE requires considerable physical and technical effort. By registering, participants implicitly declare that they meet these requirements and accept full responsibility for their actions.
PENALTIES
The Organizing Committee is authorized to impose penalties or disqualify competitors who engage in unsportsmanlike behavior during the event, including throwing waste outside the designated containers. The Organizing Committee also reserves the right to carry out random checks on competitors to ensure that they have not taken any prohibited stimulants.
By signing and submitting the registration form, the participant, together with their team representative, self-certifies that they have not been subject to any sporting, civil, and/or criminal sanctions, even if served, or are under investigation for doping-related offenses, and declares that they have not taken, and will not take, any substances included in the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) anti-doping list. False self-certification will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
By submitting their registration, participants declare that they are aware of and accept these rules and any changes that may be necessary. Participants also expressly declare that they exempt the organizers from any civil or criminal liability for damage to persons and/or property caused by them or resulting from them. For anything not covered herein, the regulations issued by the ACSI National Commission shall apply.
